"Chelexa Design and Engineering
LLC" is a Detroit, Michigan based
design, engineering and consulting firm. Chelexa was brought into existence
in 1998 to provide design and engineering support to the automotive OEM’s and
their supply base with faster, higher quality turn around than the current
competition.
Although Chelexa started as an automotive
design firm it has quickly grown into a support mechanism for non-automotive
customers as well. We have secured relationships in the medical, aircraft,
Department of Defense and consumer goods market places.
Located in Taylor, Michigan, "Chelexa Design" is no more than a
short drive away from Ford, GM, Chrysler, Toyota, and Nissan Engineering
Centers. The location was a deliberate selection in order to support our
customers within the aforementioned OEM engineering centers. However we can
and do support customers globally. In addition, since Chelexa's main purpose
is to provide the proper CAD and CAE tools required to support the automotive
OEM’S, all CAD will be performed on the OEM based systems that are being
currently utilized by them. Thus enabling us the ability to communicate with
our automotive-based customers promptly and in their respective native formats.
From Engineering & CAD support through tooling, into production and
inspection, Chelexa can provide customers complete solutions to their
engineering and manufacturing needs.
Our friendly and experienced staff has a century of combined experience in
automotive body, chassis, power train, suspension, steering and electrical
design and packaging. This experience includes, but is not limited to,
plastic injection molded components, extruded products, rubber molded
components, metal stampings, die castings, sand castings, seals etc. We
continue to utilize this extensive experience in other markets such as appliance,
aircraft, entertainment, medical etc.
